Chinmaya Mission, Powai initiated “Birthday Havana” for children of Powai, a New Initiative on the Birthday Havana for the Children of the Jagadeeshawara temple of Chinmaya Mission Powai next to Renaissance Hotel.
The main purpose is to celebrate the Birthday as per the Vedic Tradition- by performing the Aayusha Havana, at the Jagadeeshwara Temple.
All children are invited for the Birthday Havana on first Sunday of the month to the Jagadeeshwara temple along with their Parents & Grandparents. This is on every first Sunday of the month from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
All who are having their Birthday on any day in April can join and get Blessed on Group Birthday Havan to be held on April 3rd coming SUNDAY.
TIME 9.30 to 11.30 AM
People can register for their Children’s birthday online by logging in to www.birthdayhavan.com . One can register in advance for any month [of the year when they have their birthday] as there are limited seats for the Free Group Aayusha Havana on first Sunday of every Month for the childrens birthdays falling in that Month.
Recently the Mission concluded their first Free Group Birthday/Aayush Havana for Month of March at the Jagadeeshwara temple.
The Program was as below. Welcome & Registration of the Children & their Parents at the Jagadeeshawars Temple by Volunteers.
Melodious Bhajans were sung by the Bramacharis of 16 Vedanta batch of Chinmaya Mission.
“Why we do what we do” ( Logic of Vedic – Aayush Havana) was explained by Acharya of Jagadeeshwara Temple shri. MLP Rao.
Followed by the Kindling the Havana, by reciting the sacred Vedic chants , in no time the ambience of the HILL TOP jagadeeshwara temple was reverberating with festivity & Purity.
The Aayush Havan started by invoking Lord Ganesha and Kul Devi and later concluded with poornahooti. In the end our Temple Poojari Shri Nagaraju adorned the foreheads of all Children with vibhooti from the Havan Kund and all were given blessing, Prasad and Bal Vihar Magazine.
In the end children had funfilled activities in the BALVIHAR – a Weekly Children get together for learning of Bhagvat Geeta , Values based stories & games. Children loved it immensely & parents expressed their gratitude by offering Yathashakti Donations at the alter & with fulfilment in their Hearts and joy on their face went home.
