Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated at Sri Hanuman Temple at IIT Powai. Many residents attended the functions . The Magic Mantra of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ was chanted through out the day.
The Temple was constructed long back when there was a narrow road at Powai. Due to developments and widening of road there is traffic on both sides of the Temple.
The Government is yet to give a satisfactory alternate land where this Temple is to re located.
