In a grisly incident, Nilesh Kamble of Chandivali on Tuesday stabbed his father-in-law Mahadev Eknath Lokhande 50 times when the latter demanded Rs. 70000 from him.
According to reports, Kamble had lent Rs. 50000 to his father-in-law Lokhande on several occasions. On Tuesday, Lokhande asked for Rs. 70000 from his son-in-law which snowballed into a heated argument. Kamble, who was fed up with Lokhande’s ways lost his cool and stabbed him 50 times, resulting in the death of Lokhande.
In a bid to save her father’s life, Kamble’s wife Saraswati also lost her life after she got accidentally stabbed by Kamble.
Mumbai police arrested Kamble after he reported the incident to the chairman og his building and asked him to inform cops.
The dead bodies were sent to Rajawadi hospital for autopsy.
The accused was arrested and booked under section 302 of IPC on charges of murder.
