As news of Modi’s elevation in the BJP spread, a commercial tattoo artist from Ghatkopar in Mumbai saw an opportunity and posted on the pages of a popular social networking site that he would provide a permanent tattoo of Narendra Modi free of cost at his Ghatkopar studio.
Nikhil Bhanushali, 28, the tattooist says, “Till now, I have received around 15 requests from metros like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and this weekend my main artist and wife Archana, who is a trained portrait tattooist, will be doing a Modi tattoo for a Gujarati businessman who is a fan. This is our way of showing support for a strong leader who can lead the country.” Bhanushali is a Kutchi by origin and admits to having no particular leanings for any party.
