At a time when crimes on  Girl child are happening through India,  isnt it time to Open your eyes to harmful policies of Powai School Principals
Many would have noticed that many schools in Powai have made it compulsory for a Girl Child as young as 1 std to wear skirts two inches above knee. What are these schools trying to prove???
These 1st standard girls cannot even properly walk and here we have School forcing parents to make their Girl Child wear such short skirt. These Girls have to travel in school buses with male conductors. These small Girls cannot sit like grown up Girls leading to dangers.
The cruelest side is that this goes on till the Girl is in 10 th standard. The same school Principals now decide that the Boys in 7th or 8th are Grown ups and they should wear Full Pants [ to cover whatever the school thinks fit]. HOWEVER the Girl child has to continue wearing this skirt TWO INCH above KNEE. You cant learn better in this dress.
What prestige this short skirt will give to Schools???
With Crime against Girls growing to alarming propotions is it not a  high time that the parents take the issue and ask for full length skirts uniforms like in Central Schools or a Slawar Kameez.
