Today Chandivali wakes up to promise of a good health.
As part of its larger promise of providing a holistic lifestyle to its residents, Nahar Group achives yet another milestone by launching
Nahar Medical and Diagnostic Center .
The center is a brainchild of Architect and Developer Mr. Ajay Nahar. The project is not just architecturally conceptualized and executed by him but he has also played a pivotal role in designing the business model, which ensures a successful venture.
According to him, “Architecturally speaking, I had 20,000 sq. ft. and 5 storey to create a center which is fairly large but the key challenge was to accommodate over 25 facilities to shape it into a comprehensive Medical Center such that due justice is done to each facility.” Shouldering an equal responsibility with him in this venture , is Architect Puja Singh Nahar. Her mainstay has been creating environments through interior designing. She says, “While it was Ajay’s dream to create a center that offers the most technologically advanced facilities, my focus has been mainly on sculpting a warm hospitable environment where patients are guided with care and compassion.
Being centrally located, at Nahar Amrit Shakti, Chandivali, Andheri East, Nahar Medical Center is poised to benefit residents across the entire eastern and western suburbs. Adds Mr. Ajay Nahar, “Simply importing the best technology was just one part, which had to be complimented by the finest Doctors and Specialists of each field of medicine. Today I can proudly say the center has been blessed by some of the best professionals in the field who have been my guide while taking crucial decisions.”
Nahar Medical was inaugrated on October 29, 2012 by Padma Bushan Awardee Dr. Farokh Udwadia. Dr Udwadia is the youngest Indian to date to be elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh at the age of 38. He has also been felicitated with a Master Fellow of the International and American College Chest Physicians in 1997. Its a remarkable achievement since he is the only Indian and the second Asian to be conferred with this award.
The facilities include ENT, Cosmetology, Day Care, Mammography, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Dental Treatment, Diabetes, Urology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Obstetrics amongst the many other health related issues.
According to Mr. Ajay Nahar, “If I have to view the center from a singular perspective of being a profit making center, it would take us even more than a decade to achieve a break- even, but at times one does engage in ventures from which one derives a satisfaction beyond the relam of profit and in this case I would measure my success in terms of a currency called blessings.”
