Powai lost one of the most active and vibrant senior citizens on 18th Jan 2014. Mr Dharam Veer Arora was a long time resident of Powai and was a very active member of Powai Gurudwara and Punjabi Sabha.
He had also conceived a idea and made a Shiva Temple in Powai Crystal palace to which he was dedicated till he passed away. He used to be at the Temple at 4 am daily doing seva. Even in fever he used to be seen cleaning the Temple with plastic covers tied to his feet’s in rains.
The Sikh and Hindu community were present to pay their condolence to his family.
